Volunteer Profile: Roger Orloff

Brother Orloff is an alumnus of the New York Kappa Tau Chapter at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He served as Marshal and Scribe during his undergraduate career. Roger has been volunteering for over 25 years; as an alumnus, he has volunteered as a Chapter Advisor for Baldwin Wallace University, Editor of the National Periodical the Tripod, chapter representative to the National Executive Council, and was awarded a Council Key by the International Executive Council. The Council Key is held as the highest award for a Brother providing meritorious service over a number of years.

Giving back to the brotherhood has been the driving force behind Brother Orloff’s continued involvement; “Pi Lambda Phi has contributed greatly to what I have been able to accomplish in life. I believe this gives me an obligation to do what I can to ensure that today’s and future Pilams will have the same opportunities form which I have benefited.”

Brother Orloff had this to say about his time as a volunteer “The most rewarding aspect of volunteering is being able to shape the strategy for Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity’s future. I enjoy being able to be an advocate for aspirational goals for our brotherhood.”

Thank you brother Orloff for your numerous years of volunteering.
