Conclaves

Pi Lambda Phi’s Regional Conclaves give undergrad brothers  a chance to learn essential skills in the fraternity world. Everything from hazing to finances to rush are covered in these weekend long, educational seminars. Conclave events also focus on developing leadership skills, which are invaluable to any undergraduate brother. 

For our Regional Conclaves, Pi Lambda Phi’s International Headquarters divides all chapters into three different sections to foster easier transportation to and from the event. This provides each chapter an opportunity to bring sometimes five or more men.  This allows not only officers but younger chapter brothers who are on the path to holding an executive board position a chance to attend.

Many agree that the connections made are the most valuable asset obtained from attending Regional Conclaves. Sometimes ideas and thoughts can be better explained by a peer rather than a guest speaker or alumni lecturer. This is why we also set up social events to promote these relationships.  

Overall, our Regional Conclaves are a great experience for a freshman all the way to a senior. Through educational programs and coordinated social events, the positive experience of Conclave cannot be fully explained but must be experienced.
