Travis Graham Receives Chapter Advisor Award
Travis Graham from Virginia Theta Xi, serves as Chapter Advisor with a positive attitude and dedication, which has guided the Undergraduate Brothers to improve with leaps and bounds this past year. Challenging and pushing the Undergraduate Brothers to never settle helped the group more than double in size. Any alumni brother who has served as an advisor to a chapter of Pilam undergrads knows it is no easy feat. Being a chapter advisor can be time consuming and stressful at times, yet rewarding.
Travis’ experience as a Founding Father of Virginia Theta Xi, and former Rex and K.O.E., enabled him to provide invaluable knowledge and experience to the active Brothers. Like any chapter or colony, there are always challenges. Travis’ mentorship and guidance has helped the group traverse those challenges smoothly. Another strength of Travis is his ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all of the key stakeholders. Because of his efforts, Virginia Theta Xi, Radford University and IHQ have been able to work together to continue moving the group through the daunting task of being a chartered chapter.
Travis has worked tirelessly since day one of becoming Chapter Advisor. His dedication to the colony he helped start as a Founding Father, to men who continue to move Virginia Theta Xi forward, and the Creed and Values of Pi Lambda Phi, make Travis the 2013 Chapter Advisor of the Year.
