Convention 2011 Review
Thank you to all who participated in or helped contribute to make this year’s Pi Lambda Phi Annual Leadership Convention such a huge success! With great attendance by our chapters and alumni, many milestones to celebrate and many new initiatives to be excited for, the message of “Prepare to Execute,” rung loudly throughout our fraternity and the city of Philadelphia, of brotherly love, provided the perfect atmosphere.
Over 100 undergraduate brothers joined us in Philadelphia, marking one of the highest attendance rates at a Convention in recent memory. Undergraduates were joined by the International Headquarters Staff, International Executive Council, Foundation Trustees, Chapter Advisors and other involved alumni to learn and to celebrate the past and future successes of our Fraternity. Along with a high in undergraduate attendance, there were also many other milestones achieved during the 2010-2011 academic year reflecting the hard work and dedication of the brothers of our Fraternity. This past year we achieved highs in Dues collections (93.73%) New Member Fees collections (98.73%), Initiation Fees collections (94.59%), undergraduate brothers attending a Conclave (525) and of course Convention attendance. Also, nine chapters took advantage of the full semester payment plan to receive 5% off their Fall Dues and two chapters paid their entire year’s Dues at once to receive the 8% discount.
